有關WSUS在VPN環境問題

小弟在公司網路中架了一台WSUS Server ..
在將公司網域的GPO 的 Update Server 資訊都指到這台 Server後..
Client 端的電腦也都可以順利的呈現在 WSUS Server 上控管..

但現在有個問題..
現在公司有條VPN線路到另外一個據點..

因為我想把這據點的電腦,也納入公司的WSUS Server管理..
在WSUS的文件上有寫說..如果沒有加入網域的電腦..只要更改其Local GPO
將 Update Service 指到這我的WSUS Server 就可以..

問題來了..

我的WSUS 始終看不到這據點的電腦出現耶...
不知道是什麼原因..
我可以從這據點的的電腦PING 到這台 WSUS Server , 名稱也都解析得到..
也可以從WSUS Server Ping 到這台據點的電腦,名稱也解析得到..
DNS 和 WINS 也都指到同一台 Server ..

唯一不同的是..
我這台 WSUS 子網路遮罩 :255.255.255.0 , IP:10.1.1.x <-- 由DHCP配發
據點的電腦 子網路遮罩:255.255.255.248, IP:192.168.10.x <--- 1M/64 固8

請問這樣會有影響嗎?...明明大家都互相看得到...
還是說我有什麼地方忽略了...還請指導一下...

對了..

如果我想把這個據點的電腦也一起納入公司網域管理..這樣會不會很浪費頻寬?
還是我這樣想是異想天開..?...

首先感謝您的回覆,
我照您的步驟跑..但已經過了半個鐘頭..依然沒看到此client出現在我的WSUS上..
不管去check windows update.log 或 iis.log ..裡面的資訊收幾乎是好幾個月前的...

最後我用clientdiag跑了一下..出現下面資訊

2. 檢查 %windir%\Windows Update.log 是否有存取 WSUS server 的紀錄，若有的話，是否有錯誤訊息
3. 下列的步驟繁多，請慢慢操作：
a. [開始]->[執行]，在 [開啟] 處打上 [regedit]，按下 [確定]
b. 找到下面的路徑：
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\AutoUpdate
c. 若LastWaitTimeout、DetectionStartTime的設定存在，請刪除
d. 開啟 [命令提示字元]，輸入下面的指令，以停止自動更新服務，並按下 [Enter]：
net stop wuauserv
e. 在 [命令提示字元]，輸入下面的指令，以停止自動更新服務，並按下 [Enter]：
net start wuauserv
f. 輸入下列指令，並按下 [Enter]：
